Hazardous Area Safety Switches
IDEM’s hazardous area machine safety products meet the latest IECEx and ATEX standards, ensuring reliable performance in explosive atmospheres. Engineered for use in both gas and dust zones, these Ex-solutions minimize the risk of ignition and maintain strict compliance with Directive 2014/34/EU. Depending on the model, they are suitable for Zones 0, 20, 1, 21, 2, and 22, making them ideal for petrochemical, pharmaceutical, and food processing environments.
This versatile range includes non-contact safety switches, tongue interlock
switches, emergency stop devices, rope pull switches, limit switches, and belt
alignment switches. Each device comes pre-wired with three metres of cable as
standard or is available with extended lengths available on request to simplify

All models are offered in robust die-cast metal or corrosion-resistant 316
stainless steel, achieving IP67 and IP69K ratings for maximum durability.
